Intro to Grimsoul
(Grimsoul is a project of COBIESITE.)
As I got more into occultish things, I decided I would make a grimoire. Then, of my grimoire, I would make it into this website.
My current practice at the moment is something eclectic that I define for myself as a Chaos Hedge Witch.
To me it means:
- I do not follow a deity per-se, but I believe strongly in animism and that everything that you can touch has a soul. This does not mean it is alive per-se, but it means that it or the object it came from has a spirit or a destiny/purpose. Perhaps the pencil did not consent to being a tree, but it takes it passively while still 'being' a piece of what it used to be.
- I do work through tarot, through the balance of fire and water, sigils, and a cute little wand I found out in the fire pit. My two black cats protect me (and tear shit up).
- The kind of work that I actually do is two different things. The purpose for the occult research to begin with is so that I could learn to contact spirits as a medium. It shifted in tone once I decided I wanted to contact Lucifer and Hermes and got more into actual research relating to demonolatry and general... magical things. I believe Lucifer is meant to be my patron at some point, but I know as I am, I am not ready to be in conversation with him. (Both because I'm not prepared and because I am not the kind of person Lucifer asks for and guides just yet.)
Hermes: By the way if you didn't know, I stick by Hermes because Hermes is very chill in my experience to the point of I summoned him as a test and I can feel his presence even outside of our sessions... He is very, very amused by humans from what I can tell and will watch me to the point I can hear him laughing at my thoughts. I didn't intend to commune or worship him at all, but from my research after the fact, he seems to do that a lot. He can appear just from curiosity about him, and from then on he's a pest (in a fun way). I also don't intend to work with many more Hellenistic gods... at least not the 'main' ones.
Lucifer: Lucifer on the other hand, he is described as being very hard on his dogmas of the self, I'm a little scared of him ngl.. In a reverent way. I came to Lucifer for the truth, and I can tell that he gives me signs. I asked my cards if I should worship him and I pulled the Hermit. But the Hermit also rewards a bit of wise patience and contemplation... As well as being practically a dead center calling card for Lucifer when you take it from the normal reading of who that tarot belongs to.
